Jack J. Gattenio, M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, B.A. in Anthropology, A.A., CST, and CSCS, brings more than 40 years of lifting, coaching, and training experience to JACK’S GYM & FITNESS. He currently teaches within the Escambia County Public Schools District and holds certifications in K–6 General Education and 6–12 Social Sciences.

In addition to his work in education, Jack has coached baseball at both Pensacola High School and Escambia High School. From 2015–2017, he served as the strength and conditioning coach for the Foley High School baseball program, helping athletes develop strength, performance, and discipline both on and off the field.

Throughout his career, Jack has trained adults and athletes from a wide variety of sports and backgrounds. His lifting journey began in 1985 at Terry Duncan’s Gold’s Gym in Ventura, California, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for strength training and fitness.

A distinguished high school and collegiate football and track & field athlete, Jack also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and competed as an NPC bodybuilder. His lifelong commitment to strength, discipline, education, and personal growth continues to shape his approach as both a teacher and coach.

At JACK’S GYM & FITNESS, that experience translates into practical, results-driven training built on decades of real-world knowledge and dedication.


Alicia M. Gattenio holds a B.A. in Business/Economics from Flagler College and is an experienced business professional currently working with Tanger Management LLC.

With more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Alicia has developed extensive expertise in financial forecasting, strategic planning, and interpreting business and economic trends. Her professional background combines strong analytical skills with a practical understanding of organizational leadership and long-term growth.

Alicia is recognized for her commitment to ethical business practices and her dedication to employee well-being. Throughout her career, she has worked to foster supportive, principled workplace environments while helping organizations make informed, strategic decisions in an ever-changing economic landscape.

Casey J. Gattenio, B.A. in History/Education from the University of West Florida and currently teaches for the Baldwin County Board of Education at Elberta High School, where he also serves as the head baseball coach.

A standout athlete, Casey played six seasons for Foley High School, finishing his high school baseball career as a 1st Team All-State second baseman. He continued his playing career at Coastal Alabama Community College before transferring to the University of West Florida.

During his time at UWF, Casey expanded his coaching experience by serving two seasons as a baseball coach at Pensacola High School and one season at Washington High School.

In addition to his coaching and teaching background, Casey is also an accomplished lifter with a strong passion for strength and athletic performance. He assists with coaching at JACK’S GYM & FITNESS during lifting seminars for high school athletes, helping young athletes develop proper technique, discipline, confidence, and a strong work ethic both in the gym and on the field.

 

Brooke K. Gattenio, Auburn University graduate, B.S. Nutrition - Dietetics, 2-year scholarship athlete, volleyball defensive specialist University of Mobile

Brooke has earned numerous awards and recognitions throughout her academic and athletic career. As a member of Elberta High School’s first graduating class, she was honored as the inaugural recipient of the Lady Warrior Award — an achievement recognizing excellence in character, leadership, academics, and athletic performance.

In addition to her academic success, Brooke is also an accomplished lifter with a strong passion for strength training and athletics. She assists with coaching at JACK’S GYM & FITNESS during lifting seminars for high school athletes, helping teach proper technique, discipline, and confidence to the next generation of competitors.

Brooke is currently continuing her education through a master’s program and internship to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Jack T. Gattenio is an incoming freshman at Coastal Alabama Community College whose passion for athletics has evolved from basketball to bodybuilding. Through consistent hard work, discipline, and dedication to his goals, he has experienced significant personal growth both inside and outside the gym.

Jack plans to continue his education at the University of West Florida, where he intends to study sports psychology. His goal is to combine his interest in the mind–body connection with his commitment to fitness, strength training, and athletic performance.

In addition to his own training journey, Jack is also a personal trainer who enjoys helping others build confidence, improve performance, and reach their fitness goals through consistency and disciplined training.

As an active lifter with a strong passion for personal development and coaching, Jack represents the next generation of leadership and commitment at JACK’S GYM & FITNESS.
